Just a little bit about myself…….

Photography came at an early stage in my life as my uncle was a very keen photographer with his own dark room. His main interests was aircraft and trains. He had many of his photos mainly Lancaster , spitfire and hurricane published in books.

At the very early stages of digital photography my uncle and myself bought Fuji digital cameras with a whopping 2.1 mp !! That was ground breaking back in the day.

As my interest was mainly nature photography, it came apparent the Fuji bridge cameras didn’t cut the mustard and this is where my love of Canon DSLRs came in.

My Canon journey started with the 400d with a 10.1mp crop sensor this was the start of all things Canon then I got the bug big time !

After the 400d came a 40d ,50d , 7d , 7d2 , 1d3 , 1d4 , 1DX , 1DX2 , 5D3 , 5D4 and the 5DSR !

Lenses come and go as you alway want better and better glass, so came the Canon 100 400 L series which changed everything for me for a number of years until I got into big primes. Things got more serious when I purchased a Canon 5D3 and a Canon 600m f4 i.s L lens and this was a massive game changer it felt like I had gone pro over night. The image quality and the bokeh was outstanding it just made the image POP !

Then along came mirrorless another game changing episode with 4K video , I could then film subjects with ease in real time or slow mo.

My current set up is the Canon R5 , R6 and R7

Both R5 and R6 have battery grips attached for balance and extra power.

Lenses 500mm F4 Mk2 , 100-500 RF , 24-105 RF , 50 RF , 1.4 mk3 tc and x2 RF tc.
